DEAR ESTEEMED TEACHERS:

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the aforementioned student(s)
from your respective subjects and classes. We would like to request your understanding
and support for their absence on the afternoon of October 11, 2023, due to their much-
needed participation in the SPBIO’S PREPARATION AND ORIENTATION
REGARDING THE SHOOL’S ROARFEST 23: THE LNHS TIGER GAMES, which
is scheduled to be held on October 12-12 of the same year.

Considering the proximity of this sporting event, the SPBIO needs time to plan and
prepare its student journalists in order to perform the said media coverage at their
optimum capacities and capabilities. In order to realize the said purposes, we require
the participation of these students, and we deeply recognize it as an opportunity for
them to further develop their journalism skills and potential, in view as well of the
preparation for the expected conduct of LNHS J-CON (Journalism Convention) and the
DSPC (Division Schools Press Conference). We believe that this experience will
contribute positively to their overall development as valuable individuals and
productive members of society.

We understand the importance of regular attendance in your class, and we assure you
that they are committed to their studies. They are willing to make every effort just to
catch up on missed assignments, readings, and any classwork during their absence. We
kindly request your guidance in providing them with any materials or instructions they
may need to ensure a smooth transition upon their return.

If there are any specific guidelines or assignments that you would like them to complete
during their absence, please let us know, and we will ensure they are addressed
accordingly.

We truly appreciate your understanding and support in granting this leave of absence
for the said students to participate in this important activity. We believe that such
experiences play a vital role in their educational journey.
