LOI: Discuss the concept of Criminalistics
In this activity student will device a method by which the fingerprint of the class can be
categorized and identified.

Divide student into groups of three or four. Each group takes the fingerprints of its
member and analyses them for various characteristics such as shapes or types of
lines.
The student will then devise a general grouping system based on a code of
classification traits.
The process that is described is profiling after reading this story discussion of
profiling in modern cases.
