of inspiration about Shiv Sewlal, who has over 40
allergies, eczema and asthma and how her body
reacts to these disorders, when she consumes/comes
in close proximity to these allergens, and she must
overcome all the negativity she faces in order to
accomplish her goal of educating others by sharing
her life on social media or else there won’t be a
mindset shift towards sensitivity of such rare genetic
disorders.

CONCEPT
Shiv suffers from over 40 different allergies along with eczema and asthma.
She has had a difficult childhood and we can also know more about her
journey through the videos she shares that were taken during her childhood.
Her parents too talk about how it is a rare condition that they too had never
come across and how difficult it was for them to deal with her upbringing
when there were not much sources about her various allergies. They also
share their side of life bring up two daughters, one of which has no allergies
whatsoever.
Her younger sister too shares how they have learnt so much through Shiv's
journey and even help educate others to be sensitive towards any individual
with such disorders.
At last, we see how Shiv has been victorious in her day to day battles with
eczema, how she preps her meals for event event she attends, to avoid her
condition flaring up. A constant reminder that the world is still slowly
developing towards having a mindset of inclusitivity, and it needs to begin at
an early age itself.
