A Job interview to George Williams by Tommy Hilfiger

Employer: Good morning George, welcome to Tommy Hilfiger. to start let’s talk about you. What do you consider to
be your biggest weakness? And also, please tell me a time that you demonstrated your ability to work under
pressure. Right now, we are looking for a designer that is available to do an underwear collection for male and
female or a pyjamas collection for kids.

Employee: Hello. Before answer you let me say that is a privilege to be here. I think that my biggest weakness is my
trouble with Work-Life balance, only because I prioritize work every time. Talking about the pressure, on the
beginning of this year I had to deliver a suit to a final and they only gave me two days, it was really hard to make it
perfect and deliver it on time, but I made it and had the best grade on the class.

Employer: Very well, congratulations. What’s your previous work experience? And what is the reason that made you
apply for this brand? Which of the positions that we have available you are interested in?

Employee: Until now I only have worked as conducting street survey, also I made an internship at school at GAP but I
only helped designing few pieces however that was enough to improve skills as efficiency and productivity and much
more that you can check on my CV if wish. I know that Tommy is a huge brand to start but the truth is that I love the
history of Thomas Hilfiger, how he started the brand, how he do his designs and collections, I love it! For me, the
best position might be the underwear collection because I have more experience to deal with it than kids clothing
and also underwear, to me, is like art.

Employer: Why do you think that you would be an ideal candidate to our brand? Do you really think that you could
bring us benefits? What is your best quality that at the same time could be interesting to us?

Employee: According to my designing style, I can bring you interesting pieces. Also, I’m a fast learner, a great worker
under pressure, a good garment constructor and also great at apparel design. My best quality that could interest you
is my effective time management. I can give you everything on the deadlines even if they are tight, I can organize
time schedules, I can coordinate designs, etc.
