The corporate History of Netflix:

From a DVD rental service to a global streaming powerhouse. I still remember that back in the 2002 When
I was young My first movie watching experience was “The Lion king” I watched the movie on a DVD player.

Nobody Imagined that the idea of Netflix will become so popular one day. The founders of Netflix are:
Read Heistean & March Randolph. They Were Both Entrepreneur’s they decided to start a business on
DVD rental service. Netflix started their operations in 1997. The aim of Netflix was to remove the uncomfortably
Of Blockbuster.

The startup of Netflix:

They started their journey by purchasing 1000 DVD players at that time. They offered people that they may keep
them as long as they want but they have to pay a subscription fee for their service and they may take a new DVD
by returning the old one they won’t have to pay for the new one, it was on a affordable cost, no deadline. By
following this strategy, they became very popular in a short time, the company began to grew, to generate
Revenue.

At that time a rumored spread out that the C.E.O of “Amazon” wanted to purchase “Netflix” but fortunately the
Founders of Netflix didn’t agree with the deal. If we see at the modern time “Amazon prime” is the biggest\
Competitor of Netflix. Now “Amazon” is a trillion-dollar company.

Dot-com Bubble:

When the companies Crash cause of the internet speed then it is called the Dot-com bubble. Many
Companies have faced losses cause of the dot-com bubble. Cause of dot-com bubble the founders became
So afraid that they even wanted to sell Netflix to their biggest competitor Blockbuster. Unfortunately
They didn’t understand the importance of Netflix. Blockbuster Rejected the deal saying we do not accept
things based on internet.

In the year 2002 the whole scenario changed Netflix for the first time made profit of 7 million. In 2004
They made profit of 50 million then they had 35000 of cinemas, they used to rent 1million per day.
Then the founders thought if we want survive and grow then we must develop our own website. They
Declared a handsome prize money for the person who can develop a website where people can watch movies, shows
Online. Netflix the developed their own stremming platform. They now sell online and offline. Then the internet
Became a revolution people go online to watch movies paying a subscription fee. They have unlimited content,
Affordable subscription fee and others. Though they have faced 1000 of challenges on the way now we see
Netflix as a stemming Giant.

Massage:
Always try something Unique. Be the different from the others. Try not to follow others be the real you on the
inside. Don't stay on your comfort zone success always lies on the uncomfort zone. Work hard day & night,
utilize your time, work smart. Follow the right strategy, teamwork will lead you to the stairs of success.
