Minutes of proceedings of Board Meeting of POLY NEWS held at the seat of the group

organization on 15th September 2022 at 12:17 p.m. at Powder Mill Street Pamplemousse
under the chairmanship of Mr. Noah Theodore.

 Welcome Address
The Chairperson welcomed the members present and opened the meeting through a speech,
and explained the purpose and vision of the organization.
 Activities

 Group Discussion

I) Implementation of Survey
Mr. Jessen suggested that we could firstly do a survey to be able to have the number of
people who will be interested with the magazine.
Additionally, Miss Anne put forward concerning a question on the survey that is letting
people to decide between getting the news from a blog or a magazine, for the board to know
what the expectation of students are in the logistic cluster.
Priscilla develop a point whereby if the people on the survey tend to favor the blog creation,
we could add an affiliate link to keep existing customers.
Question that will be centered firstly for the survey according to Miss Bhavna are whether
students prefer magazine or blog, price expectation, where they are more active Facebook or
Instagram and etcetera.
The board agreed to give Theodore Noah the task responsibility of creating the survey.
II) Advertising and sponsorship
Bhavna proposed the board to search on companies in the logistics who could act as sponsor.
She emphasized on companies who are already partnered with Polytechnic Mauritius Ltd in
term of internship. Thus, strengthen relation between collaborators to have better seized on
high achievable students for recruitment.
Mr. Musaffar mentioned that advertising could be featuring offers for school material.
Mr. Luvish specified that our market segment should be mostly on youngsters. However,
Alizee recommended that for the first time launching, it would be preferable to focus onto the
logistics cluster itself and not the other cluster.
Miss Alizee proposed that the blog or magazine could be publishing Polytechnic Mauritius
Ltd graduated students and remarkable journey to success.
