CMHS Band Update

Week of Sept. 25

Important Messages
● What a fun Homecoming week! THANK YOU, band, for pushing through a downpour during the
parade. Special thank you to the parents that walked with us - you signed up for a parade and also
got a shower!

● Oct. 7 Competition - Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival - Belleville West High School
○ Please read the itinerary and be ON TIME! CLICK HERE to read the itinerary.
○ If you would like to leave after the performance, you and your parent/guardian should find
me, Miss Davis, and check out with me. The only time this should happen is when the
trailer is fully loaded and students have been dismissed to go watch other bands.

● This week’s rehearsal is going to start off with a picture for the school yearbook. Be at the stadium,
fully dressed in uniform, at 5:30pm for the Marching Eagles picture. Color guard, wear your show
uniform, no show make-up/hair. For those of you with conflicts for Tuesday’s rehearsal, please
talk to me so we can see what we can work out.

Things to Remember
● Parents/Guardians - you are required to volunteer at least once throughout this school year. Please
reach out to me with any questions you may have about this.

● An updated rehearsal/performance calendar can be found by CLICKING HERE. Also, you can visit

● Please communicate all absences with me. Email is preferred - mdavis@bethalto.org

● Always ask yourself, what can you do today that will make your life easier tomorrow? BE PREPARED!

● A note on call time. Call time is the time you should be at the school ready to go. Call time is NOT
the time you are arriving.
