Title of the Study: “Adjustment To A “New Normal”: Coping Flexibility In

Learning After Pandemic”

Keywords: New Normal, Remote Learning, Online Learning, Hybrid

Learning, Digital Tools, Adaptive Learning

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the global education system to undergo a radical

transformation, compelling educators, students, and institutions to adapt to a new

normal of learning. This abstract explores the concept of adapting to the new normal

type of learning, highlighting the challenges faced and the innovative solutions that

have emerged.

Traditional face-to-face classroom settings have given way to remote learning models,

requiring the implementation of various digital tools and platforms to facilitate

effective teaching and learning. The shift to online and hybrid learning modalities has

presented both opportunities and obstacles, demanding educators to reimagine

instructional strategies, pedagogical approaches, and assessment methods.

This delves into the key components of adapting to the new normal type of learning,

emphasizing the need for enhanced technological infrastructure, digital literacy

among educators and students, and equitable access to devices and internet

connectivity. It explores the role of adaptive learning technologies, virtual

collaboration tools, and personalized learning experiences in fostering engagement

and motivation among learners.

Furthermore, the abstract discusses the social and emotional implications of the new

normal type of learning, emphasizing the importance of mental health support and

social interaction opportunities for students. It explores the integration of social-

emotional learning initiatives and strategies into the online learning environment to

promote well-being and connectedness.

This study concludes by acknowledging the evolving nature of the new normal type

of learning, recognizing the need for ongoing research, collaboration, and professional

development to ensure its effectiveness. It highlights the importance of leveraging

lessons learned during the pandemic to shape future educational practices and create a

resilient, inclusive, and learner-centered education system. This study uses

Phenomenological research design to gain insight into actual procrastinating

experiences. There are total of 20 respondents and there are 5 respondents from every

Grade 11 STEM, ABM, HUMSS, & TVL. This study uses structured interview

questionnaire to get data from the respondents.
