(Autonomous), Tirupattur are its sister institutions.
Founded in 2007, it has at present 1600 students on its
rolls, with 11 UG and 8 PG courses apart from 4
M.Phil. courses. MSW, a specialized course is run by
this outstanding educational institute. The College is
located 5 kms from Dharmapuri town and about 1.5
kms from Sogathur Cross Roads Junction. In addition,
from 2013 the same management runs the Don Bosco
College of Education in a nearby campus. Don Bosco
College stands head and shoulders above others in
winning trophies in games and sports in Periyar
University, Salem.
THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH
The Department of English started in the year
2009 with UG course, the faculty count is 13. PG
course was started in the year 2011 and the present
student strength is 110. The department offers M.Phil.
course in regular mode from 2014. Our students have
bagged numerous prizes at intercollegiate
competitions. A well equipped library and internet
browsing facilities in the campus are a great boon to
their learning resources. The English Department is
packed with talent and punch among its staff and
students.
We have been organizing and conducting the
DB MUSE – Intercollegiate Fest for the last thirteen
years. The festival provides a golden opportunity for
students from many colleges to showcase their
histrionic talents and literature competence. The
Prospero Literary Association organizes very useful
programmes and competitions for the students from
