According to the sayings of the elders, “If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at

all.” Whether it’s chatting with colleagues, discussing family issues, or sending group messages
to acquaintances, and everyone who talks about other people. Gossip is when two or more
individuals gather to discuss inside knowledge about another person who is not there. On the
other side, some people find gossiping to be entertaining and addicting, as well as a source of
temporary guilty pleasure.

I can also share my personal experience regarding this, it's my relatives who gossip about me
because I, too, have judgmental relatives. On a special occasion with my family, I presented my
boyfriend to them. They claim that my priority is love life and that I don't study hard, and I can
only follow in the footsteps of my sister, who had an early pregnancy. Naturally, I was both hurt
and encouraged. I was upset since that's how people see me, and they even spread the rumor
that I'm like that, even though I'm not. What they said about me also motivates me since it
demonstrates that I do not neglect my academics and that I am capable of balancing
everything. They ate what they said about me because they saw my growth and could see that I
did not neglect my academics and that I could not do what my sister did. I also want to share
something about a friend of mine who is being gossiped about. When we were still in class in
grade 7, we had a classmate who was gossiped about by the whole class when he was not in
our room. I can see and hear that a lot of my classmates spreading rumors about him. Many of
my classmates are spreading rumors about him, as I can see and hear. When our classmates are
close to them, they should all avoid him since he smells. One time, I approached him and
explained why my classmates avoided him. He's sad, however, because he has no idea what's
wrong with him or why others avoid him at school. I said that it was because of his bad odor.
Nevertheless, he states, because he like spicy foods, he is unaware that he has a bad odor,
despite the fact that he takes a bath every day. When you compare yourself to someone, it
might be depressing. So he stopped eating spicy meals and started using deodorant.

In conclusion, gossiping does us no good; aside from slandering someone, we cannot get
wealthy by gossiping. Yes, we gossip from time to time in our lives, but I also try to put myself in
the shoes of those who are gossiped about. It hurts when you are the one being gossiped about
because you will be startled by those people who spread the rumors, and it is impossible to
please people nowadays.
