Entrepreneurship
What is Money?
Gaining Fluency
When you think of money, you probably think of pennies, dollars, and
debit cards. Different countries use different kinds of money. If you live in
the Eastern Hemisphere, you may use pounds, Euros, rubles, or renminbi.

But why do we use money at all?

Hundreds of years ago, people traded goods for what they needed. This
was called bartering. Money replaced bartering, because it is easier to
carry money, protect it, and store it for later.
