JANITORIAL SERVICES EVALUATION
CLASSIFICATIONS
A total of 167 people took part
167 RESPONSES in the third quarter janitorial
services evaluation. The
majority are students. Others
include faculty and non-
teaching employees. This
implies that the evaluation
included comments and input
from various sectors of the
institution, including as
students, academic staff, and
administrative workers, which
can provide a comprehensive
view of the quality of janitorial
services during that time period.

In the Restroom Area, most
RESTROOM respondents had positive
ratings:
42.5% of the respondents
rated it as outstanding for
cleanliness, including toilets
and sinks.
More than half (53.9%) gave
an outstanding rating for the
regular sanitation of trash
containers.
Likewise, 31.7% found the
sanitation of towels/tissues
to be very satisfactory or
outstanding.
As for the daily cleaning and
polishing of glass/mirror
hardware, there is 44.3%
rated outstanding.

Janitors received the highest
RESTROOM ratings from 49.7% of the
respondents because they
swept and washed the floors
on a regular basis.

Similarly, according to 49.7%


of evaluators who rated them
excellent, partitions and
doors are cleaned regularly.

performance was rated by
1.8% of respondents; a
minimal percentage to
address the water supply
problem..

FLOOR
Janitors received
Outstanding ratings from
54.5% respondents because
they routinely swept and
washed the floors.

Floors are kept in excellent


condition, with 51.5% rating
them as such as well as the
wood floors maintained their
shine, an excellent rating
from 49.1%. As regard
vacuuming and spot-cleaned
daily, 46.7% gave the same
rating

spaces, received an
excellent grade from
52.1% of respondents.
Furthermore, the majority
of respondents were
extremely satisfied with
janitorial services for
tasks such as daily
cobweb removal from
ceiling areas, spot
cleaning of walls, and
cleaning and sanitization
of water foundations,
sinks, microwave ovens,
refrigerators, and kitchen
areas.

The remaining things are
still about interior spaces.
Furniture/telephones/hor
izontal surfaces/blinds
are dusted and damp-
wiped weekly; light
switches/door handles
are cleaned, sanitized,
and polished daily;
janitorial areas are
cleaned, sanitized, and
neatly maintained weekly;
and curtains/blinds are
cleaned monthly received

EXTERIOR SPACES
high marks for certain
duties in the context of
outside areas. These
responsibilities included
daily sweeping of
entrances and sidewalks,
quarterly cleaning of inside
and outside windows of all
facilities, and daily garbage
can emptying and cleaning.
These outstanding ratings
for the three areas suggest
that the janitorial services
provided highly satisfying
and well-performed
outside area maintenance.

The janitorial services' daily
EXTERIOR SPACES trash pickup and timely,
segregated garbage collection
are crucial for maintaining a
clean and environmentally
responsible outdoor
environment. The high rating
indicates the effective removal
of litter and debris, enhancing
the aesthetic appeal. The
outstanding rating for garbage
collection demonstrates
efficient waste management,
reducing environmental
impact and promoting
recycling. These outstanding
ratings demonstrate the
team's dedication to
maintaining a positive outdoor
environment.

Janitorial services were
OTHER REQUIREMENTS evaluated further based on a
variety of criteria, such as
ensuring the security of all
exterior doors and windows,
reporting any observed
irregularities or issues to the
designated building contact
person, responding quickly to
cleaning and repair requests,
and supplying necessary
cleaning materials and
equipment such as cleaning
chemicals and brushes. These
aspects garnered mostly
positive feedback, with
several being regarded as
outstanding and very
satisfactory.
