(3) Activity: Activity 1: Packaging Material Identification

 Divide the class into groups.


 Provide each group with different packaging materials.
 Ask each group to identify the packaging material and its properties.
 Have the groups present their findings.

Activity 2: Packaging Design

 Provide the students with different food items.


 Ask them to design packaging for the food items.
 Have the students present their designs and explain the functions of their
packaging.

Activity 3: Packaging Game

 Create a game where the students will match the food item with the
appropriate packaging material.
 Have the students play the game in groups.

 Ask the students to identify the importance of packaging in the food industry.
 Discuss the different functions of packaging.

(5) Abstraction:
 Ask the students to come up with their own definition of packaging and its
importance in the food industry.

(6) Application:

 Give the students a real-life problem that is related to the objective. For
example, how can we package food items in an eco-friendly way?
