Thank You

As we come to the end of another year, I wanted to

take a moment to express my sincere appreciation
and gratitude to all of you.
First, I want to thank our Life Kbites for their tireless
dedication and hard work. Your efforts to provide
valuable information and support to our
community have not gone unnoticed, and we are
grateful for all that you do.
I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our
patrons, executives, Kbites, sponsors, partners,
and supporters. Your support and collaboration
have been invaluable in helping us achieve our
goals and make a positive impact in the country.
Additionally, I want to express my appreciation to
the College of Medicine and the entire Unilag
community for their supportand partnership. We could not have accomplished all that we
have without your help, and we are grateful to be a part of such a vibrant and supportive
community.
As we reflect on the past year, it's clear that we have much to be thankful for. I am so proud
of all that we have achieved together, and I am looking forward to what the future holds for
the KB Klub.

Fifth outreach of the year , KBites in conjunction with Youth Empowerment Foundation
(YEF) at Ajegunle on the 2nd of July ,2022

Sixth Outreach of the year: KBites visited the Tower of Refuge Orphanage, Surulere on
the 17th of August, 2022. Life KBite Omigie Daltimore and Life KBite Emeh Noel were
also in attendance.

Seventh outreach of the year: This was organized in honor of Professor Isaac Owoeye, a pioneer
of early days physiotherapy in the college of medicine and to commemorate the 40th ULAPS
Annual Health week 21/22. It was held on the 21st of August, 2022, in collaboration with the
University of Lagos Association of Physiotherapy Students(ULAPS), alongside Lifekbite Prof.
Abiodun Akinwuntan, Dr. Mrs. Oyefesobi and Dr. Abimbola Macaulay.

Ninth and Major Medical Outreach of the year, The Annual Philanthropic Day of the
Klub, themed 'A Chance at Life for the Future’ held at Christ Gospel Apostolic Church,
Egbeda, Lagos, on Saturday 22nd October, 2022.

10th outreach of the year: The KB KLUB held her first ever Dermatology outreach in
collaboration with The Dermatology outreach mission of The Dermatology Clinic, at
Ikate Primary Health Centre, Lekki. Life KBite Gbadamosi was instrumental in making
this a success.

For the KB Klub, Year 2022 started with a dream - a vision of the annual STACK
Conference 2022. Themed, " Transforming Healthcare through FinTech", it aimed to
bring major stakeholders and professionals in the Health, Finance & Technology sectors
with medical and non-medical students to foster discussions that could revolutionize
healthcare delivery and practice. The KB Fellowship Program - a fellowship/internship
program which was also in view - aimed at providing soft, non-clinical skills to medical
students. Plans were already being put in place: successful meetings with sponsors,
speakers and attendees; a prosperous meeting with the University; and in total, an event
that was ready to take to the skies.

Alas, the academic crisis of 2022, which saw students out of school for approximately 9
months prevented this event from evolving past its nascent stage.

Not to be cowed, the academic arm of the KB Klub proudly presented the KB Fellowship
Program, her premier 12-month mentorship and internship program designed to
acquaint medical students with the non-clinical aspects of Healthcare. We intend to
create a platform between students and personalities in their preferred fields and
provide an avenue for medical students to fulfill their dreams of pursuing careers in
Non-Clinical Healthcare. This is the aim of our Legacy Program. This program is open to
penultimate and final year students and applications are open till December 31st,
2022. The application link and more details on this program can be found on our social

As 2023 approaches, the KB Klub anticipates a steady foundation for a successful

STACK CONFERENCE 2023. Scheduled to hold at the end of the first quarter of 2023,
ideas and plans are already in progress and STACK'23 is guaranteed to fulfill our
dream of furthering Healthcare in Nigeria, in Africa and consequently, the world.

MEDIPHIL 2022
The KB Klub's annual publication, the MEDIPHIL 2022 magazine is currently in production and set
for release in January 2023. Coined from the words that embody the KB KLUB- ‘MEDICINE’ and
‘PHILANTHROPY’, this edition of the magazine is specially themed “ENCHÓRIOS- Celebrating Our
Own”. It would feature Life KBites( Life Members of the KB KLUB) Dr. Ifaniyi Oshiga, Principal
Dentist (Beechcroft Dental Clinic, Norwich, United Kingdom) and Professor Abiodun Akinwuntan
(Dean, School of Health Professions, University of Kansas) as magazine covers. This is with respect
to the sparkling progress and stellar heights these men have achieved in their lives and healthcare
practices.
It is a publication that celebrates the 12th Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor
Oluwatoyin Temitayo Ogundipe, FAS; reflects on the life of the Commissioner for Transportation,
Ogun State, Engineer Gbenga Dairo; and captures the lives of students during the unforgiving
pandemic.
This magazine shall be launched as a physically printed copy and as an online publication via our
