(F) Counting to 10, knowing numbers without counting Line children up. Point to the first child in the line. They say the number of letters in their name. If they do this quickly and correctly, they stay where they are in the line. If they are slow or give an incorrect answer, they go to the back of the line. The first child then points to another child who says the number of letters in their name. Once again, if they are slow or give the incorrect total, then they go to the back of the line. Work down the line, keeping a fast pace, instructing children to point to one another and say the number of letters in their names.
