EXP 1. MODEL AND SIMULATE THE OUTPUT RESPONSE FOR THE GIVEN
TANSFER FUNCTION
Aim:
To obtain step ramp and parabolic signal response for the following
systems.
1) 1/((s+2)(s+3))
2) 1/(s(s+2)(s+3))
3) ((s+1)(s+3))/(s^2(s+2)(s+3))
Appartus Required:
MATLAB Simulink software
Procedure:
 Open MATLAB in your PC and select Simulink.
 Select blank page and save the file.
 Select the transfer function from library browser and place.
 Write the given function in the transfer function block .
 Place scope at the output to see the transfer characteristics.
 Place the respected signal as input to the function.
 The stop time is defined as 50seconds.
 For step signal define the step time as 1s.
 For ramp signal define the slope as 1.
 For parabolic signal integrate the ramp signal.
 Give step ramp and parabolic signal and see the response at the scope.

Inference:
 When step signal is given for the first equation the output response
increases linearly at 1s and gets saturated at 3s with output as 1.6. For
second equation increases linearly for 1s and third equation the output
response increases exponentially from 1s.
 When ramp signal is given as an input the first equation output increases
linearly and for other two equations the output response increases
exponentially.
 When parabolic signal is given for all equations the output increases
linearly for all equations

Result:
The output response for given transfer functions is realized using
MATLAB software.
