A piece of wire of resistance 20 n is drawn out so that its length is
increased to twice its original length. Calculate the resistance of the wire in
the new situation.
7. Rahul and his friends went to a nearby orchard to see how different
fruits are cultivated. However, they /observed that pesticides were
being sprayed on fruits without adhering to any guidelines. How can
excessive use of pesticides to protect the crops from diseases cause

SECTION C
15. Read the following case based passage and answer the questions given after
passage.
When a current is passed through the circular loop of wire, a magnetic field
lines near the coil are nearly circular and concentric. At the centre of the
circular loop, the magnetic field lines are straight.
The strength of the magnetic field produced by a current-carrying circular
coil (or circular wire) depends on:
(i) . current flowing through the coil.
(ii) radius of the circular coil.
(iii) number of turns of wire in the circular coil. '
The direction of the field lines can be found by applying Right-Hand
Thumb Rule.
