Warmer
Broken telephone. Split the class into two groups and whisper the sentence 'I like to go on vacation with
my family'. Gesture that you want the class to tell each other the phrase until it reaches the front of the
class.

Production
In groups ask each other what is your favourite holiday? My favourite holiday is...
Worksheet= match the item to the correct holiday. E.g. tent + camping. Word scramble.

Cooler
Get students to stand up. Shout out the vocab words and students must do the actions for each.

Planning elements:

Materials and aid: flash cards, que prompts,

Presumed knowledge: basic understanding of the verb to need

Anticipated problems annd solution: lack of confidence- give praise. Pronounciation- correct throughout
class using stronger students.
