PRONUNCIATION:
The student will do the pronunciation drills of the following finals: a, o, e.

Introduction

After learning the pronunciation of the three letters a, o and e, the students will learn about the 4 tones and
neutral tone in Chinese Mandarin.

they will identify the correct pinyin for the given hanzi.

The students will then identify the correct meaning of the given pinyin and hanzi by matching column A with
column B.

After learning the meaning of the basic Mandarin words, the students will be introduced to the different
greetings that use the said given words/pingyin. They will also identify the English meaning of the pingyin
greetings.
