SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned, devoid of dust, loose particles, formwork oil, grease and other contaminations that may

Floor Screed SC supplied in 50 kg bags must be mixed with potable water only, in a clean plastic bucket or a clean,
non-corrosive, uncontaminated metal tub. To ensure a homogenous and uniform mix, a mechanical mixer must be used.
The amount of water to be added is 7 ltrs per 50 kg bag for SC200 (i.e. approximately 14% by weight) and 5 ltrs per 50 kg bag for
SC200/10 (i.e. approximately 10% by weight). Add Screed to water in the mixer and mix till a homogenous mix is obtained. No further
water should be added to the mix. Hard and set mortar should not be mixed or used.
Screeding should be carried out in accordance to the relevant standards and code of practice.
SPECIAL NOTES
It is essential to properly water cure the applied Screed for a minimum period of 2 days (3-4 times daily).

STORAGE
Conmix Floor Screed SC must be stored in a dry place, off the ground and well covered. Hard or lumpy material must be rejected.
