CAPSTONE UPDATE #1

1. What have you accomplished so far with your Capstone Project outside of class?

So far, I have completed lots of research and planning for my capstone project. My project is still in
the planning stages. I have planned out some interviews I want to have with people and have started
to reach out. I have also completed lots of research about the topic including statistics.

2. What do you plan to accomplish by the end of next week?

By the end of next week, I plan to be done with the planning and researching. I hope to know what
type of questions I will be asking each interviewee and when and where I will be conducting the
interviews.

3. What are your needs (time, space, materials, personal contacts etc.)?

I need to gain access to a camera and a microphone for the filming of my project. I will also need to
find a good space for my interviews to take place. A clean background where there will not be any
disruptions.

4. Have you encountered any obstacles or challenges so far, and how have you overcome them?

I have realized that I need to spend more time planning than I thought I would. I assumed that I
would be ready to start creating my project by now, but that is definitely not the case. I have tried to
overcome this by working as efficiently as I can to get through the research stage of my project.
