This was when our Understanding Culture, Society and Politics teacher tasked us to create a
3D model for the different types of societies, wherein we were assigned to industrial societies. In
the images below, we were making a 3D model of a typewriter out of cardboard boxes, skewers,
glue sticks, and bottle caps. We tried to recreate an actual typewriter and we can say we somehow
succeed. Thanks to the help of my groupmates, we finished the tasked as fast as we could, and we
were given high grades too.

This was my presentation for the first grading. The given topic was “Ethnocentrism” and
“Cultural Relativism”. It served as one of my performance tasks on the subject, Understanding
Culture, Society, and Politics. During this task, I had to explain the concept to my classmates and
give examples for them to better understand the given topic. It was a great experience to improve
my communication skills.
