I. Introduction
Work Immersion allows students to experience real-world experience in a

professional environment. It also allows students to experience real-life situations during
adulthood which include getting necessary forms that are needed like Social Security
System (SSS), Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, Cedula and Barangay Clearance, and Police
Clearance and NBI.
The Social Security System (SSS) administers social security protection to workers
in the private sector. Social security provides replacement income for workers in times
of death, disability, sickness, maternity and old age.
Pag-IBIG has become the prime government financial institution tasked to

continually perform two of the nation's basic concerns: generation of savings and
provision of access to home financing to the workers.
PhilHealth ensures that every member is protected through comprehensive

benefits packages that are both preventive and curative. Moreover, the NHI law also
seeks to provide financial access to quality, appropriate, and adequate healthcare
services at an affordable and reasonable cost.
Cedula and Barangay Clearance acts as proof of residency and good standing
within a community. Issued by the barangay, a minor administrative division in the
country, this clearance represents an individual's compliance with local laws and
regulations. It plays a significant role in various personal and professional transactions.
Police Clearance is required to prove that you have no criminal record covering
the period of stay in a country. It validates your character as an individual, whether you
are a law-abiding citizen or not. It shows how ethical and responsible you are as a
citizen, immigrant, visitor, worker or student.
II. Body
STATION 1 : Social Security System
The first form STEM students got was the Social

Security System, or SSS, in the first station with the
guidance of Teacher Daryl-Hans Cortez. It was
located right at the High School lobby. He first
required them to sign the attendance before
distributing the papers.

STATION 2 : Pag-IBIG
The second station the STEM students

went to is Pag-IBIG with the guidance of
Teacher Jerrymie Calimlim, our Work Immersion
teacher. He required students to give the DTR
or Daily Time Record before handing them the
papers. He made the students sign their DTRs
and told them to write their full name at the
back of it before allowing them to go to the
next station.
STATION 3 : PhilHealth
The third station is the PhilHealth, where

Teacher Hilda Alipio was in charge. This is where
the students’ world turned to shambles as they
thought they didn’t have to fill out the forms. In this
station, students had to fill all three forms. It was
tiring and confusing as they didn’t know which
parts to fill out but at the same time, it was fulfilling.
STATION 4: Cedula and Barangay Clearance
It is the
4th and second-
to-the-last
station where
Teacher
Michael Dabu
was in charge,
and it was
located right at
the high school pathway. It was the most crowded
and hassle station as there were no chairs or tables
where we could fill out our forms. Students had to sit
on the ground at first, but since it was getting way too

crowded, they had to write on the wall while waiting
in line.
STATION 5 : Police Clearance and NBI
It is the last station where Teacher Mary Rose

Domingo was assigned. It was also crowded but not too
much hassle since there were chairs ( benches ) where
we were able to sit and fill out forms. It is also where the
students had to fill out the most and had to go back and
forth as they kept on forgetting to fill out a specific part
of the form.
III. Conclusion and Result
In conclusion, the process itself requires patience and energy as it takes too
much time. However, having to fill out the forms has brought a realization that all these
papers provide benefits, not only to the members, but also to their family members.
Furthermore, filling out forms requires focus so that people understand what needs to
be written.
