ISRO
ISRO is the national space agency of India, which
the Prime Minister of India directly oversees, while
the Chairman of ISRO also acts as the executive of
Department of Science. It was formed on 15
August 1969. ISRO is the pride of India as it never
fails to make India proud.
The 1st Indian lunar probe
LAUNCHED ON : 22 OCTOBER 2008 AT 06:22A.M.
LAUNCHED FROM : SATISH DHAWAN SPACE CENTRE,
SHRIHARIKOTA, ANDHRA PRADESH.
ROCKET : PSLV-XL C11
OPERATED UNTIL : 28 AUGUST 2009.
OPERATED FOR : 312 DAYS.
The CHANDRAYAAN-1
mission mainly included
an orbiter and a MIP(Moon
Impact Probe) which
helped to discover the
presence of water on the
moon.

India's 2nd lunar exploration mission

CHANDRAYAAN-2 mission's main


objective was to map and study the
variations in the lunar surface
composition, as well as the location and
the abundance of water.

OBJECTIVES
1. Getting a lander safe and soft landing on the surface of
the moon.
2. Observing demonstrating the rover's loitering
capabilities on the moon.
3. In-site observations and scientific experiments on the
chemical and natural elements.

1. Chandrayaan-2 comprised of Vikram lander, Pragyan rover, and an
orbiter, while, Chandrayaan-3 is comprised of just a lander and a
rover.
2. Chandrayaan-2 had just one such camera, Chandrayaan-3 has been
fitted with two such cameras.
3. Furthermore, the Vikram lander will have stronger legs than the
previous version. The landing velocity has been increased from
3m/second to 2m/second.

PROUD. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE FACED FAILURES,
BUT THEY HAVE ALWAYS MADE A GREAT COMEBACK.

CHANDRAYAAN-3 HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY


LANDED ON THE SOUTH POLE OF THE MOON THUS
MAKING INDIA, THE 4TH COUNTRY TO BE ABLE TO
LAND ON THE MOON'S SURFACE AND THE FIRST
EVER COUNTRY TO BE ABLE TO LAND ON THE SOUTH
POLE OF THE MOON'S SURFACE.
The successes of CHANDRAYAAN-03 on the moon for
India has showcased the boundless possibilites of human
exploration .
At last I wish to say,let our India mission overhead all the
mission and our news would spread across the globe.
