 MATANGI MUDRA

Rishi Matanga was the incarnation of Lord Brahma. By means of his

intense penance, he was blessed with goddess Parvati as his daughter, on
an auspicious Friday in the Tamil month of Aadi, who was named as
Matangi. She is the ferocious tantric aspect of mother Parvati devi.
Matangi is the ninth of the ten Mahavidyas and the goddess of all the arts,
wisdom, and learning. She appears in a dark green colour with ten arms,
divine veena in hands and a half moon on the forehead. Matangi worship
can be combined with Matangi Mudra for complete benefit.
PROCEDURE:

Twine the fingers of both the hands together, with the palms touching each
other. Both the middle fingers should be held erect. The hands are held
below the lower jaw without the fingers touching it. This can be done for
20 minutes, twice a day.
