 To provide a database for users to reserve a room in ROOMA


Hotel.
 To design a complete and functional database.
 To develop an intuitive and easy user interface, ensuring a
seamless booking experience for customers.
 To implement a secure and robust booking system to safeguard
customer data and payment information.
 To integrate a feature that provides real-time updates on room
availability and prices to assist users in making informed booking
decisions.
 To enable various payment options to accommodate a wide range
of customers, including credit cards, debit cards, and other online
payment methods.
 To integrate a customer support feature to assist users in case of
any issues or inquiries related to their bookings.
 To optimize the platform for speed and performance to enhance
the user experience and reduce load times during peak usage

Company situation

Independent Hotel:

An independently owned hotel and we want to boost its online presence and
direct bookings. We require a reservations database system with a user-friendly
website and mobile app integration. The situation emphasizes online marketing
and a user-friendly interface.

Scope

Guest Information: Store guest details, contact information, and preferences.


This data can be useful for personalized service.

Room Inventory: Keep track of room availability, types, and status (clean,
occupied, etc.).

Rates and Pricing: Manage pricing for different room types, seasons, and
promotions.

Check-in and Check-out: Record guest check-ins and check-outs. Handle key
card or room access details.
BOUNDARIES

User Authentication: Only registered users can make reservations, ensuring


accountability and accurate guest information.

Room Availability: The system can only book rooms that are available within
the specified dates.

in case of cancellations.
