1. Objective
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to (SWBAT):
Students engage in the repetition of sentences about the cook. We are going to prepare a cookie
recipe They will feedback through activities and assessments. The teacher will provide students with
the vocabulary of the target language.
5. Scaffolding.
We are going to learn vocabulary about cooking. We will create a dialogue with the students’
ideas and expressions.
I will help them with the pronunciation and when they are ready I will recorder them.
I’m going to write the sentences in the board and we are going to analyze each one.
I’m going to evaluate new vocabulary acquisition.
We are going to practice the Simple Present.

6- Review:
Greetings
We will check the concepts learned the last class. With an activity (brainstorming session) I will
connect the last class concepts and the new vocabulary.
The teacher will provide the ingredients and the things we will need to prepare the cookies.
vocabulary
ingredient: flour, eggs, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, chocolate chips, etc.
Some verbs like mix put on, add, cream, bake, etc.
The vocabulary will depend on the student's ideas.
7- List the following:
The teacher will recreate the kitchen, and also will provide the ingredients to prepare the cookies.
Each student will take a chance to participate, the teacher will say the sentence in English to help the
students with the pronunciation and after will record it.
After the teacher will write the dialogue on the board and with the class s/he will review the
grammar.
To assess every student will participate and during the week they will prepare a recipe at home and
take a video to share with the class.
Materials the Teacher will Need:
Ingredients to prepare the cookies.
8-Guided Practice
Cada uno va a participar diciendo en español los pasos para hacer la receta yo se los voy a decir en
inglés y ustedes van a repetir lo y cuando estén listos vamos a gravarlo. Después vamos a escribirlo en
la pizarra para analizarlo.
After the teacher will help the students with pronunciation, students will repeat two or three times,
when they feel ready I will recorder them.
Finally, the teacher will write in the board the dialogue record and all together will analyzed the
grammar.
9- Independent Practice
Each student can have the opportunity to write the recipe.
The teacher will give to each student a recipe template , and they will prepare and write a recipe at
home during the week. The next class all student will bring their recipes and we will create a cook
book. And, also with the videos we can edit our virtual cook book if students want.
13-Closure
I will review the vocabulary and I will motivate the to practice the vocabulary.
