TRAINING MATRIX
With the online learning set-up education, students and children have been staying at home,
doing school work, watching television, and playing computer game. It is not beneficial to stare at laptops
or phones for lengthy periods of time. Long-term screen use can result in eye strain, bodily discomfort,
sleep deprivation, and even an increased risk of obesity. Children currently lead highly unproductive lives
as a result of excessive screen time. Because of this, having a sport or taking part in one might have a lot
of advantages.
Sports activities for kids provide a lot of benefits. A child's growth requires athletics, and playing sports
has positive long-term effects on kids. Regular exercise is necessary to maintain a healthy body
composition. Children may explore and develop abilities that will help them throughout their lives if
extracurricular activities like athletics are allowed for them to engage in. Participating in sports helps kids
develop cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
The council held this basketball clinic for 200 kids from 19 barangays, ages 7 to 14, who would undergo
training for 25 day. Through this activity, the council tends to encourage all young people in nurturing
their potential and athletic abilities.
