Accessibility FAQs

Q: Are closed captions available for the live sessions? Can I disable them once they are on?

A: Yes, captions are enabled by default for all live sessions. If you prefer to disable the captions, please
click the gear-shaped icon beneath the presenter's video and toggle the option labelled “Live
Captioning” to the OFF position. Transcripts of captions can also be made available upon request.

Q: How can I enlarge the font size in the live session chat?

A: Please use your browser’s zoom function to zoom in on the page. The video of the speaker and the
presentation slides will not enlarge, only the chat font.

Q: Is ASL interpreting available for any sessions?

A: Breakout Session C3 will feature a live ASL interpreter.

Q: Where can I find the conference platform’s accessibility options?

A: The conference platform’s accessibility options can be found by clicking on the icon found in the
upper right corner of your screen. Within this accessibility panel, you can select from several profiles
that will adjust your experience, eg. Seizure Safe Profile. Please note that these adjustments may not
take place within the live session display window.

Q: Where can I ask questions about accessibility?

A: Pleaseuse the “Conference Day Support” live chat button in the lower left of your screen to ask our
live support agents any questions about accessibility or other platform features.
