Dear Sir,

With reference to the part 2 of Clause no 3.2 of document no A286-000-16-60-SP-0009 Rev-03 wherein it is
recommended to take remedial action for foundations due to aggressiveness of Sub-soil/ water as per Geo-technical
recommendation for each station. Based on the approved Geo-technical report for all station, IS 456:2000 and
attached recommendation of geo-technical agency, we would like to clarify that the chemical content of soil at each
station is well within the permissible limits and also the underground water is not encountered in any of the station up
to depth of 15 meter. So therefor it is prove that there is no requirement of addition of any admixture for corrosion
resistance since there is no effect on embedded steel of underground concrete.

In view of above said clarification, we would like to start the concrete casting work at all station without add any type
of admixture for corrosion resistance.

Dear Sir,

From the results of chemical analysis it can be concluded that it falls in class 1 oftabl~ 4 of IS
456:2000 from standpoint of view of (S03) content and (chloride) content being less than 500
mg per litre, with this chemical mark-up the soil may be considered as insignificantly corrosive
to the embedded reinforcement steel and therefore corrosion inhibitors may not be necessary.

Dear Sir,

From the results of chemical analysis it can be concluded that it falls in class 1 oftabl~ 4 of IS
456:2000 from standpoint of view of (S03) content and (chloride) content being less than 500
mg per litre, with this chemical mark-up the soil may be considered as insignificantly corrosive
to the embedded reinforcement steel and therefore corrosion inhibitors may not be necessary.
