REPORT ON MILK PLANT

INTRODUCTION:-

We all are students M.sc. nursing 1st year had gone for the visit of milk pasteurization
in the Vita dairy farm on 05/04/2023 at 10 am. milk pasteurization in company for knowing
about milk pasteurization and other process which is essential because it provided to the
society and it is major health diet of milk.

ORIENTATION:-

This diary was located in Jind, Haryana. There are approx 14 worker working in this
diary. The total campus of this dairy cover 44000sqft area and the form cover 16 × 30sqft areas.
This diary was manager Mr. D. K. Ahuja orient us in dairy. We all students reached dairy farm
entered in the milk plant where we met with the manager of company Mr. D. K. Ahuja he told
about strength and standard & production of company after this sir introduced that how the
milk is taken from different society & the milk is pasteurized & manufacturing of milk
pasteurizes is produced step by step process in different products are manufactured. This dairy
supplies products such as liquid milk, ghee, powder, paneer, Dahi, Lassi, Mango drink, Kaju
pinni.

In which sir introduced us with many type of machine that work how the milk is taken
in tank & proceed to filter tank for filtration after which sir told about the pasteurization. Its
purpose that how the milk pasteurize tank at 80.c & then cooked do an below 40.c i.e. condensed
& kept & cold storage for manufacturing after packing &labelling with price manufacturing
date as well as expiry.

OBJECTIVE:-
The main objective of this visit to the milk plant was to know about the milk purification
& about its products which are rarely consumed by the society of every group This is a major
health diet so its purification is milk to prevent from health hazards.
But all are & mostly variety brought milk from directly milk they not that up to 750,
millions at hormones esgestrons progesterone and testosterone fat and toxin was about
The brand milk purification and packing after the fatty reduce are used for, making other
products like ghee, butter, cheese, which are made from different- different methods.
After knowing about the milk production its products we all were taken to the plant
laboratory. In which sir introduced us who is chemist & does all the testing of milk after
receiving milk by society & after pasteurization & also before selling in the markets.

DESCRIPTION OF MILK PASTEURIZATION:-


Pasteurization is a process that is applied to destroy the pathogen in milk. Pasteurization
means the pathogen in milk through heat, continuously all about the temperature for a specific
period of time .milk is heated on 62.c for 15 sec. In this dairy the pasteurization method used
in high temperature short time method.
INTRODUCTION OF MILK PASTEURIZATION:-
Pasteurization is a method of having safe milk, it kill approx 90% of bacteria in milk.
It is developed by pasture in 1864 to improve of keeping the qualities of milk. This process is
also used to make a mixture of two mutually non suitable liquid the done throughout where fat
globules are reduce in size & disposed uniformly throughout the milk.

DEFINITION:-
Pasteurization is process to expose calcium food such as milk, cheese, and yogurt to an
elevated temperature for a period it time sufficient to destroy the micro-organism as these that
produces disease or causing spoilage or air able termination of food.Pasteurization is a method
of having safe milk it kills approx 90% of bacteria in milk it is done by their method.

INFRASTRUCTURE:-
In this dairy there is one big ball in which many big tank are kept and machine are there and
also supplied by pipe. This is used in Pasteurization process packing and storage.
PROCESS OF MILK PASTEURIZATION:-
COLLECTING OF MILK:-
The milk is coming from Orissa and village is getting first tested. In this 5ml at alcohol is added
to 5ml of milk and they get mixed or shacked if the milk is get break it in not get supplied and
if milk doesn’t break it is supplied further.

FAT TESTING:-
In this test 5ml of H2SO4 IS added to 10.755ml of milk with addition to 1ml of amyl alcohol.
It is checked by barometer and after the centrifugation is done all fat which is present in milk
get deposited on upper part.

SNF TESTING:-
Lactometer is generally used to measure the amount of outer which is present in milk 27.c to
28.c reading is consider as good milk.

PROCESS OF PASTEURIZATION MACHINE:-


After the collecting tank the milk is supplied to filter tank. In this there is 2 pipe line of
cool water and 2 pipe line of milk it is not having contact each other but help in chilling of milk
by the process of heat exchange Pasteurization is considered as milk in this 1000 liters of milk
is heated with 30.c temperature and cooled down with 3.c to 4.c it help in destroying of bacteria,
Pasteurization has 4 parts first section is called heating solution last section is chilling section
and middle section is called regeneration section.
PROCESS:-

HOMOGENIZER:-
Tetra pack milk is full homogenised and it is not used to make paneer and their it is collect to
a big tank.

PACKING MACHINE:-
When we are oriented about the packing machine which is used to pack the pasteurised milk.
After collecting to a big tank the milk get packaged into the packet. The horizontal heater will
break the pouch in 1 minute so packets are get pack.

SUMMARY:-
After the visiting of milk plant we gain knowledge about their pasteurization process. To
enhance the keeping quality of milk and also to avoided economic losses of farmers. For
manufacturing various milk products to make it available for the domestic market as well as
for export market.

INTRODUCTION:-

We all are students M.sc. nursing 1st year had gone for the visit of Red Cross society,
Hisar. in the Vita dairy farm on 06/04/2023 at 10 am. Red Cross is dedicated to alleviating
human suffering, upholding human dignity, protecting life, and preventing emergencies and
natural disasters such as flood, epidemics, and earthquakes. The fundamental principles
recognized by the World Red Cross Movement are impartiality, humanity, independence,
neutrality, voluntary, universality, and unity. All components of Red Cross organizations
uphold and respect these principles. District Red Cross also work on blood donation camps,
camps for persons with disabilities, first aid training programme, Vocational Trainings & other
social activities

ORIENTATION:-

This Red Cross society is located Red Cross Bhawan, Delhi Road Hisar. There are
approx 15 staff. Dr. Priyanka Soni, IAS is Deputy Commissioner -cum- President Distt. Red
Cross Society, Hisar and Mr. Ravinder Lohan is Secretary District Red Cross Society, Hisar

INTRODUCTION

The Indian Red Cross Society is a Voluntary Humanitarian Organization having a


network to over 700 branches throughout the India, providing relief in disaster, emergencies
and promoting health and care to vulnerable people and communities. The Indian Red Cross
Society was established under parliament act XV in 1920.

As per community health nursing subject requirement, I have visited Red Cross Society
in distt. Hisar ( Haryana). It was established in 1995. Here I also visit the three main
departments of this society are Anchal Mansik Vikas Kendra, Red Cross Physiotherapy centre
and School for Blind children.
OBJECTIVES

• To contribute to the improvement of health, the prevention of disease and maternity


and child care in the community.
• To educate the population on how to prepare for and respond to disasters.
• To organize emergency relief services for the victims of disasters and mitigation of
their suffering.
• To promote the participation of children and youth in the work of the Red Cross.
• To promote the Fundamental Principles of the Movement and the International
Humanitarian Law in order to inculcate humanitarian ideals among the population,
and in particular among children and youth.
• To recruit, train and develop volunteers/personnel as necessary for undertaking
humanitarian responsibilities.
• To serve the community within its jurisdiction, the state branch may initiate activities
to address local needs and priorities as approved by the Managing Body of the branch.
• To ensure correct use of the Red Cross emblem, to maintain its protective value

Mission

The Mission of the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Bhiwani is to prevent and
alleviate suffering with complete impartiality, making no discrimination as to nationality, race,
sex, religious beliefs, language, class or political opinions.

To be a leading humanitarian organisation in India, improving the lives of vulnerable people


through services delivered and promotion of humanitarian laws.

To promote the Fundamental Principles of the Movement and the International Humanitarian
Law in order to inculcate humanitarian ideals among the population, and in particular among
children and youth.

FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES

The Indian Red Cross Society shall be guided in its work by the principles of
International humanitarian law and shall respect the fundamental principles of the Red Cross
:-

I. HUMANITY: The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of a desire
to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors, in its
international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may
be found, its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It
promotes mutual understanding, friendship, co-operation and lasting peace amongst all people.

II. IMPARTIALITY: It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class


or political opinions. It endeavours to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely
by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.

III. NEUTRALITY: In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all the Movement may
not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a Political, racial, and
religious of ideological nature.

IV. INDEPENDENCE: The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while


auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their
respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times
to act in accordance with the principles of the Movement.

V. VOLUNTARY SERVICE: It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner


by desire for gain.

VI. UNITY: There can be only one Red Cross Society in any one country. It must be open to
all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.

VII. UNIVERSALITY: The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which
all Societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other,
is worldwide.
