Dear, Dr. Dugnani

This laboratory experiment was designed to student to familiar with the

instrument measurements. The Steel Tape Measurement was used to measure the high of

the table which was more than 6 inches long. The Vernier Micrometer Measurement and

the Caliper Measurement were used to measure the thickness of two washes which were

less than 6 inches.

From the result of the instruments, the most accuracy measurement is the Caliper

Measurement. The Caliper Measurement was designed a simple tool, and it was easy for

the student to make a measurement. The Caliper Measurement also have the high

accuracy measurement. With the Vernier Micrometer Measurement, the students need

some experiences for do a good job. The Steel Tape Measurement was used to measure

the long object so the accuracy of it was not the same as the Vernier Micrometer

Measurement or the Caliper Measurement. From the standard deviation and the

population of the results, those measurements of three types of the measurement

instruments were acceptable results.

Sincerely

Thanh Phan
