User Interface (UI) is display screens at the user end.

Main Layout of MiTS 2

Above are the defaults UI. If user want to reset the UI to defaults, user may go to Option > Program Settings > Layout > Reset Defaults

Main Tab #

Function of the ribbon at Main Tab;

Action – To allow user Undo/Redo

File – To save/open/save as MiTS’s project file. Not only that MiTS also allow user to Merge and Backup the MiTS project file

Import – To Import all entities in one click

Move – To Move the project / tracing drawings

Survey Points & Soil Info – To Import Survey Point and insert borehole information

Modules – Before beginning to enter entity details, the user must first select the module in which the entities will be saved

View -If the user wants to see the 3D view, user may click the button

Project – To Analyze all module and Module Status allow user to check on the entity status

Clash Analysis – To analyze and provide report of the analyzation

Export – User may Export per output or using Batch Export, to export per module

Option Tab #

Project Parameters – To allow user adjust the design restriction and etc. for the project. User may refer to Here to know more

Program Settings – Settings regarding the behavior of the software only

CAD Tab #

User may refer to ‘CAD Function’

View Tab #

Spread Input #

Spread input can be viewed by either clicking on the main “View tab” or in the Spread Input Views tab in each of the modules.

View main tab >> Spread Input, or

Spread Input Views tab >> Spread Input

Verification #
Verification of warning/error can be viewed by either clicking on the main “View tab” or in the Verification Views tab in each of the modules.

Verification Views tab >> Spread Input

Background Tasks #
Background task is a monitoring system used to provide the information of processes running in MiTS 2. It is useful if the analysis does not come out with the full result
and users may check whether the tasks are still running.

Click on “View > Background Tasks”

Right Hand Side (RHS) Tab #

At the main layout, if user realize there is RHS Tab layout.

When user activate the ribbon below, they will appear at RHS tab as shown above.

Properties #

Properties MISC tab is displayed on the right-hand side (RHS) to indicate the properties of the activated items.

Terrain #

The Terrain MISC tab is displayed on the right-hand side (RHS) to indicate the terrain of the development area.

Drawing #

Drawing layer of the modelling is displayed in Drawing tab on the RHS

Tracing #

Drawing imported layer properties are shown on the RHS.

About #

About – Contains the MiTS 2 information like version that user currently use

Hardlock – Contains details of the user hardlock

Support #

Email App. Status – To allow user directly contact MES Technical Support Team through email

Collect Diagnostic – When a user submits a report, MES requires the diagnostic file so that we can thoroughly investigate the user’s report

Application #

To allow user check whether the version that user currently use is the latest one or not
