EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Infinite Social Investments Solutions Limited was granted the License on 9th April, 2021.
After which, a certificate of the small scale exploration licence was collected from the
Mining Cadastre Office. Work in the reporting quarter has mainly focused on community
engagement with customary leadership and other stakeholders in the area of operation as well
as literature review to gain proper understanding of the works done in and near the licence
area.

The area lies in the Lufilian arc and has potential to host Copper, Gold, Iron Ore, Nickel,
Silver and zinc deposit.

1. INTRODUCTION

Infinite Social Investments Solutions Limited is a Zambian registered company prospecting

for Copper, Gold, iron ore, nickel, silver and zinc deposit in Solwezi district of the North
western Province. The company holds a small scale exploration licence Number 27283-HQ-
SEL. The license was issued in accordance with the Mines and Minerals Act No. 11 of 2015
on the 9th of April, 2021 and is valid for a period of four (4) years up to the 8th of April,
2025. The licence area covers an area of 318.1072 hectares. This report summarises activities
undertaken in the licence in the second quarter of 2022.

1.1 Location and Access of Exploration area

The license No. 27283-HQ-SEL is located within Solwezi district, North western province,
Zambia (Figure 1). Access to the license area is via route T5 (Chingola Solwezi road) which
connects the Zambian Copperbelt to Angola, then using a network of gravel roads which
branch from T5.

1.2 Compliances and References

Mineral Exploration rights were offered to Infinite Social Investments Solutions on 9th April,
2021 after applying for the license from the Zambia Cadastre office.

On account of compliance, the post license requirements involving the Environmental Project
Brief, Pegging and any associated certificates are here described.

The pegging certificate works were not conducted as well as the EPB (Environmental Project
Brief) because funds are being mobilised.

1.3 Sources of Information

This Quarterly report was compiled based on reviews of historical information from ZCCM-
IH archives as well as on information from other historical documents held at the Chamber of
Mines Library. Other useful sources of information were obtained from the Geological
Survey Department in the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development.

1.4 Units of Measure

All units of measure in this report are in SI UTM system. All maps in this report were
generated using the UTM system, specifically UTM_Arc_1950 System. Tenements map from
the government’s Flexicadastre system were imported in the same coordinate system.

2. EXPLORATION HISTORY

Most of the exploration in and around the area was done by the Geological Survey
Department.

7
3. GEOLOGICAL SETTING

3.1 Regional Geology

The prospect lies in the Lufilian Arc. The Lufilian arc of the Katanga orogeny is located
between the Bangweulu, DRC and the Kalahari Craton (figure 2) .It is zone of oregenically
deformed upper Precambrian geosyclinal sediments It locally called the lusakan orogeny.

Figure 2: position of Lufilian Arc in Africa

Based on structural interpretation two major (d1 and d2) phases of the pan-african orogeny
affected the Lufilian Arc.

D1 caused an east – west trend with the final deformation (d2) stage resulting in the lufilian
belt. The upper kundelungu was affected by 4 deformation stages at the reentrant of the
aulacogen

1. External fold and thrust belt:

Characterised by an arcuate belt of thin skinned outward shaped to recumbent d1 folds and
local nappes and overthrusts of the roan over the kundelungu.

8
2. Domes regions

Characterised by thick skinned tectonics with basement shearing and slices of basement
rocks forming inliers in the thrust sheets (see figure 3).

3. Synclinorial region and katanga high

the synclinorial belt is the marginal basin in the south and west of the domes region.
Completely folded at least two deformation events. Scanty structural data available on
the katanga high though affected by the d1 and d2.

4. Kundelungu aulacogen

Wedge shaped and north-eastwards tapering which branches from the northern re-
entrant to the Lufilian Arc.

3.2 Stratigraphy and Structural Geology

The differences in the original rift morphology and the structural evolution of the Lufilian
Arc account for the stratigraphic variation between different structural domains of the
Lufilian Arc

The roan group represents the first phase of sedimentation in which the original rifting and
uplift caused the deposition of conglomerate and arkosic unit, the mine series, followed by a
marine transgression and the accumulation of shallow marine clastic rocks and the mixed
carbonate platform – hypersaline lagoon evaporitic sequence known as the upper roan.

The lower kundelungu represents the second phase in the evolution of the lufilian basin. The
northwest and northeast margin was uplifted and glacial conditions prevailed in the
surrounding highlands. Grand conglomerate formed during this stage .grand conglomerate
composed of conglomerate, glacial diamicites and glaciomarine laminities. Rifting and block
faulting occurred in the external fold during the deposition of the lower kundelungu hence
accumulation of pelitic sediments (5000 m) in the north of this subducting zone and
kundelungu aulacogen in which the equivalent is 400m thick

The upper kundelungu represents the third phase of basin evolution. Uplift in the south
caused an unconformity on the kakontwe limestone, and the petit conglomerate spread
northward into the basin. Pronounced uplift of the basin margins and subsidence of basin
floor led to thick clastic sequence in the upper kundelungu. It terminates in distinct purple
arkose which may represent molasses.

3.3 Local Geology

The license area lies in the Lufilian arc. It falls within the Pre-Katanga Post Basement
Complex and Katanga SuperGroup. The rocks of the area are namely, gneiss and
conglomerate. Phyllites. Outcrops are very sparse, however a better understanding of the
local geology will be established when a detailed geological mapping exercise is conducted.

3.4 Mineralisation

The area is prospective for the following: Copper, Gold, iron ore, nickel, silver and zinc
deposit.

The license holder has interest in Copper and Gold potential of the area.

4. EXPLORATION OPERATIONS

4.1 Exploration Activities and Methods

In the reporting quarter, a desk review of available was further done in order to strategically
plan the soil sampling, magnetics and detailed Geological mapping.

4.2 Health, Safety, Community and Environmental Protection activities

No health, safety, community and Environmental Protection activities where conducted

during the period of reporting, however, Various Health, Safety, Community and
Environmental conduct guidelines and standard operating procedures were formulated which
will guide exploration operations in the future reporting quarters.

4.3 Capital costs, Contractors and Service Agents

No capital costs, contractors and service agents where incurred during the reporting quarter.

4.4 Number of persons employed and their nationalities

At this early stage of exploration, no personnel related to exploration activities was employed
during the reporting quarter.

4.5 Costs for all exploration activities listed as follows

A summary of costs expended during the reporting quarter were as follows:

SN ACTIVITY PERIOD TOTAL COST (K)

Historical Data Collection
