Q6(A).Give scientific reasons, anyone (2 marks).

1. There is a kink near the Mercury bulb in capillary tube of clinical thermometer.
Ans:-1) mercury rises in the capillary tube during the measurement of temperature of
human body.
2) Now ,due to king the Mercury itself does not fall down.
3) so after removing the thermometer from the contact of human body ,mercury
remains steady at that level .Therefore the body temperature of human body can be
read even after sometime.
2. Metallic utensils are used for cooking.

shown on the graph.
3) the maximum part of the graph paper is utilised for drawing the graph.
2. In places of hot climate it is advisable that outer walls of the houses be painted
white,Explain.
Ans:-In hot climate regions, outer walls of houses get heated by radiation if outer
once of houses are painted white the ones absorb less amount of heat through
radiation and reflex more heat as a result people living in these houses feel less
hot.
