 WHO WE ARE
The UP EPSILON CHI FRATERNITY is one of the premier
Engineering-based fraternities in the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
Since its founding in 1964, the fraternity has been dedicated to producing
leaders and achievers in all fields—from young entrepreneurs, to professors,
to even leaders in the government and in the industry.

With an advocacy for service and excellence, UP Epsilon Chi continues to

pursue its ambition and drive to continue the service it has delivered over its
existence. Instilled with the ideals of excellence and the vision of a better
tomorrow, the UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity is an ever-expanding organization
in the pursuit of quality and the improvement of self and society.

The UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity takes pride in one of the Fraternity’s many
initiatives, the legacy project deemed as the "Home of the UP Fighting
Maroons" — the Epsilon Chi Center. This center stands as a testament to
the unwavering commitment of the UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity to give back
to the university.

OVERALL HEAD Throughout the academic year, the Fraternity holds multiple
events that aim to promote healthy friendships among
students, particularly within the College of Engineering. One of
Joseph Orland Barcelon such events is BLOCSHOT 2023—a university-wide 5v5
Jann Neri Caparas basketball tournament exclusive for Freshmen students of the
university. This event aims to embody the true spirit of
CO-HEADS sportsmanship and camaraderie by bringing together students
from various colleges to compete on the basketball court. It
will not only showcase their skills and abilities but also
Wilson Adrian De Torres emphasize the importance of teamwork, fostering a sense of

 ABOUT THE EVENT
BLOCSHOT 2023: UP EPSILON CHI BASKETBALL LEAGUE shall be the
biggest freshmen basketball tournament in the University. The tournament
will feature twelve (12) teams, each consisting of 5 starting players and 5
reserve players. These talented athletes will showcase their skills, talent, and
synergy for the bid of being this year's BLOCSHOT champions.
