One of the main causes of poverty in the Philippines is the unequal

distribution of wealth. A significant portion of the country's wealth is concentrated in
the hands of a few wealthy individuals and corporations, while the majority of the
population lives in poverty. Corruption in government and business often favors the
interests of the wealthy over the needs of the poor, exace rbating the problem. Inadequate

access to quality education due to poverty, geogr aphical location, and inadequate

Compare-Contrast (Comparing and Contrasting Online Class and Face-to-Face)

Online Class and Face-to-Face Class are used by students in the Philippines.
Back when COVID-19 hits the country, face-to-face classes is one of many that that
stopped and was later replaced by online class. In this essay, we will comparing and
contrasting the Online class and face-to-face class.

Both online class and face-to-face class students still learned through their
adviser but the difference between the two is in online class students sits down facing
their electronic devices while in face-to-face class students are in a classroom with
their adviser live teaching them, although in online class its also live teaching but
sometimes it was delivered by a video. Another similar with these two is its still both
helpful to students, it will still help them to enhance their knowledge and challenge
their skills and the two will use sometimes an exam, assignments, reports, etc. While
in online class, students often be likely distracted since they are in front of their
devices unlike in Face-to-Face class the distraction can be minimize and control
because students are being monitored by their instructor.

Nonetheless, Online Class and Face-to-Face Class may have slightly

differences, but their purpose to students are still the same and is to help them grow
and guide them to a path of success.

Persuasion (The Importance of Cooking at Home)

Cooking at home is a valuable and essential skill that everyone should learn.
Not only does it provide us with delicious, healthy meals, but it also has many
benefits that go beyond the plate. In this essay, I will argue why cooking at home is
important, and why everyone should make an effort to cook more often.

Firstly, cooking at home is a great way to save money. Eating out at

restaurants or ordering takeout can be expensive, especially if it becomes a regular
habit. Cooking at home can help us to save money on food expenses, as ingredients
can be bought in bulk and prepared in larger quantities. Furthermore, we can also use
leftovers and reduce food waste, which can further contribute to cost savings over
time.

Secondly, cooking at home provides us with greater control over what we eat.
When we cook at home, we can select fresh, wholesome ingredients and tailor our
meals to our specific dietary needs or preferences. This is particularly important for
those with food allergies or chronic health conditions, who need to carefully monitor
their food intake. In addition, cooking at home allows us to avoid the excess salt,
sugar, and unhealthy additives that are often found in pre-packaged and processed
foods.

Thirdly, cooking at home can be a fun and creative activity that brings people
together. Involving family or friends in meal preparation can be a great way to spend
quality time together and bond over a shared interest. Children can also learn
important life skills and develop healthy eating habits by helping out in the kitchen.
Cooking can also be a source of personal fulfillment, as we can experiment with
different flavors, textures, and presentation styles to create delicious meals.

Lastly, cooking at home can also have a positive impact on the environment.
When we cook at home, we can choose locally-sourced ingredients and reduce the
amount of plastic packaging that comes with takeout or pre-packaged foods. We can
also reduce our carbon footprint by cooking with energy-efficient appliances and
reducing food waste.

In conclusion, cooking at home is a valuable and essential skill that everyone

should learn. It can help us to save money, control what we eat, bring people together,
and have a positive impact on the environment. With these benefits in mind, we
should all make an effort to cook more often and incorporate it as a regular part of our
lives
