1 Ensure that all safety regulations are perfectly complied.
Ensure that the craft are wearing safety gears specially isolated gloves for (230 VAC

inst) & isolated safety shoe.
Obtain and fulfill the necessary work permits (HOT), and inform the operator before
3 starting the job.
The instrument tools shall be IS classified & isolated to prevent electric chock
4
(powered inst 230 VAC)
5 Consider continuous gas leak test around the area.
Confirm using P&ID / Logic diagram whether instrument is shut down item or not. If it
6 is shutdown item, proceed the procedure for override switch under acceptance from
operation and Instrument Maintenance Supervisor.

1 Notify the concerned department that analyzer will be checked.
Verify details of the loop sketch. Any documentation discrepancies are
2 to be investigated and corrected by the owning department and the loop
drawings updated with the corrections.
Perform a visual inspection of the Analyzer, wiring, connections, power
3 supply, controller etc… applicable to each installation. Ensure that all
connections are free of obstruction.
Complete the Danalyzer Maintenance Checklist (attach AGC CHECK
4 LIST) bi-monthly. Place the Sales Order No., date and time on the form
and file it.
Save a Chromatogram of the operating Analyzer on the PC with the
MON software. Pint configuration, calibration, and raw data reports and

file them with the Maintenance Check List. Also, upload the current
application to the PC with the MON software.
Check the Analog. output , if the there is a tolerance , calibrate as

follows :
Select “ Analog output “ under “ Application “ SUBMENU .select the
7
channel
8 Set zero = 0.0 and Full scale = 4

9 Look at the voltmeter and record the full scale reading.


The MON software will adjust the scale so the span will be 4 volts and
10
scale accordingly
Select “ ANALOG OUTPUTS “ again. And change the “ fixed or var. “ to
11
“var. “ and the value to 0.0.
12 The MON Software will now maintain the correct span
Press ESCAPE twice , select “ Yes “ and pres ENTER to save
13
changes.
Check the printer paper roll (if used) to assure that a sufficient supply of
14
paper remains. Check carrier and calibration gas supplies.
There is no routine maintenance to be performed on the Model 2350A
15
GC Controller.
Verify the operation of the loop indicators and alarms (functional loop
16
check).
17 INSTRUMENT TO BE TAGGED WITH DATED TEST LABEL.

Ensure the equipment is left in a safe condition.


Remove all tools and debris, clean local area.
 Note any faults found and comments.
Raise a work request if any major corrective work is identified or the performance standards are
not met during the above maintenance.
Sign off permit to work and hand over the equipment to the authorized lead operator.
Submit details to be entered into the Maintenance Management System.
