OA_L
The OA_L is a variable gain EDFA-based amplifier without an MSA, optimized for low gain spans in coherent
network applications, supporting up to 44/88 DWDM channels.

OLP_S2
An Optical Link Protection (OLP) card that provides protection for two services of DWDM networks.

OMSP Protection Card


The OMSP is an optical multiplex section (MS) protection card providing multiplex section protection at the
optical line level. For this protection mode, two fiber pairs are required for each protected span. The protection
fiber is constantly monitored by a pilot tone.

SP_CE32_1 Splitter/Coupler
The SP_CE32_1 includes two independent splitter/coupler sections: a 1 x 32 bidirectional splitter/coupler unit
and a 1 x 2 bidirectional splitter/coupler unit. The SP_CE32_1 can be used in coherent networks for reception
of DWDM channels from ROADM nodes.

TR100
The TR100 100 Gbps transponder maps the client 100 GbE signal to OTU4 G.709, converts the signal to a
colored optical signal, and transmits it towards the network.

Plug and Play


The STMS Plug & Play feature uses the LightPlan OM/SM output file to install and configure equipment on
managed NEs (locally or remotely) through automatically-generated CLI commands.

Unique and Persistent NE-ID


Each NE has a unique and persistent ID which is used to identify it in the STMS when uploading information to
the NMS.
