Today, counsel for defendant has handed over two blank cheques of Rs.
50,000 each, one pro-note and copies of ID cards along with electricity bills etc. to
counsel for plaintiff.
After receiving aforesaid documents and perusing the same, Ld. Counsel for
the Plaintiff seeks permission to withdraw the present suit stating that the present matter
now stands settled. He has averred that after receiving the documents referred to above,
nothing further remains in the present matter. He accordingly seeks leave of the court to
withdraw the present matter as the same stands settled.
Heard.
Statement of counsel for plaintiff in this regard has been recorded
separately.
In view of above submission and statement of counsel for plaintiff recorded
today, present suit is disposed of as withdrawn being settled.
File be consigned to record room after due compliance.
