INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 1ST ALHAJI & ALHAJA

ABUBAKAR DUROSINLORUN MEMORIAL NORTH - CENTRAL
UNDER - 13 & 17 BOYS AND GIRLS SQUASH TOURNAMENT.

The above refers, please. In line with the aim of fostering social interaction and healthy
competition within players, we cordially invite your state/academy to participate in the
above squash Tournament to be held from Thursday 10th of August through Sunday
13th August, 2023 at the Ilorin Township Stadium Squash Courts, Ilorin, Kwara
State.

1. You are to indicate interest by registration and presenting the names of your
players With the tournament director (Coach Jonah Attah 09095183841) in the Boys
and Girls categories as stated above on or before Tuesday, 1st of August 2023. The
draws will be held on Thursday 3rd of August 2023. The games will be officiated
according to the World Squash Singles Rules (2020) while we encourage all participants
to emulate the spirit of sportsmanship.

2. There will be accommodation and feeding during the tournament. In addition,

mouth-watering prizes are up for grabs to all winners.

3. Accommodation and feeding will be provided for 4 players and 1 official from
each state of the Zone.

4. The organisers have made provision for players within the age bracket of 50 and
above to re-enact the memories of their active days as a side attraction.

5. The programme of event is as follows:

NOTE: It is mandatory for players age 19 and below to put on standard safety
protective eye glasses in compliance with (WSF) standards while playing official
matches on court .

Consequently, all participating junior players in this tournament are expected to

comply accordingly otherwise, will be outrightly disqualified during any official match
on court.
