The speaker argues that implementing anti-discrimination policies that protect people from discrimination based on characteristics like race, gender, and religion is the first step to stopping the negative effects of nationalism on social minorities. Such policies would ensure equal opportunities for minorities in areas like education, employment, and healthcare. However, if the government does not develop inclusive policies, the lives of social minorities will continue to face difficulties. The speaker cites South Sudan's history of nationalism exacerbating ethnic tensions and minorities being disproportionately impacted by war and displacement.

Honorable chairs fellow delegates lovely members of staff and press,
The first step to stopping the negative effects of nationalism ideologies
on social minorities is implementing policies thet prohibit discrimination based on race, gender, religion or any other characteristic .This would ensure that social minorities have equal opportunities in all aspects of life includin education, employment, healthcare and so on. If the gouverment doesn t develop inclusive policies the lives of those in social minorities will continue in the same way.South Sudan's history of nationalist ideologies can be traced back to its struggle for independence from Sudan, and it is still struggling with ethnic tensions until the present. Minorities and indigenous peoples frequently represent higher percentages of displaced people and are frequently the most vulnerable during times of war. For instance, several Sudanese Nuba communities had previously fled from South Kordofan in Sudan and were now living in refugee camps in South Sudan. The condition of Nuba communities has been much worse since the crisis in South Sudan broke out in late 2013. The current government in South Sudan that encourages this type of behavior should be replaced with a government that supports human s rights and is willing to develop practices that help ensure that social minorities are not left out or treated unfairly by organizations and institutions.
