Re: 2021/2022 Christmas Holiday time pay information

In preparation for the holiday season, please review the below which helps facilitate the last pay of 2021 (Dec
13 – Dec 25) and the first pay of 2022 (Dec 27-Jan 8). This affects both hourly and salaried MacStaff.
The holiday banking hours affect when Meenal must process the last pay of 2021. Meenal will process pay on
December 24 and the deposit will be on December 30 (thank you Meenal!). You will receive your paystub on
the 24th. The first pay of the 2022 year is December 27 – January 8, 2022 and Meenal will process on
January 10.
During the holiday season there are 3 statutory holidays – Christmas day (recorded on Dec 24), Boxing Day
(recorded Dec 27) and New Years’ Day (recorded either Dec 31 or Jan 3).
For the pay period of December 13 – December 25 all timesheets must be to Meenal on December 23 by
10:00am. All staff will be paid 8 regular hours for December 23 regardless of any split shift work at Garyray on
December 23 and 27. If there is overtime for the 23rd, please record it on the timesheets for the next pay. All
staff will be paid as a stat day for December 24th.
For the pay period of December 27 – January 8, the December 27 – Jan 1 timesheets can be in to Meenal by
Tuesday January 4th. All staff will be paid 8 stat hours for December 27. If there is overtime for those that
worked that day, please record it on December 28. December 31 will be recorded as a Stat day for Hanlan
and January 3 will be the Stat day for Garyray.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let Meenal, myself or your Supervisor know the week of January
3, 2021.
