Outbreak Campaign from 15th May to 30th june 2017 to address what it has identified as an outbreak of the
disease.

Health professional teams from the department will be visiting creches and schools to immunise all
children from 6 months to 15 years with 1 dose of measles vaccine. Event if a child has had all their vaccines,
it’s important that they be vaccinated again as part of this outbreak management.

everyone was vaccined, leaving the rest of the community vulnerable. Measles is a serious and highly
contagious disease. It can cause severe complications including blindness, brain damage, pneumonia and even
death. The disease can affect both children and adults, but the illness can also be effectively prevented through

with the shortest term. At this time his name is immortalised as the name of one of the universities in I ndonesia,
replacing the name of the State University of Indonesia.

Ilham Akbar Habibie and Thareq Habibie Kemal.
He had learned at the SMAK Dago. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Indonesia,
Bandung (Bandung Institute of technology) in 1954. In 1955-1965 he went on to study engineering, specializing

Habibie inherited the chaotic state of conditions in post Suharto’s resignation breaking loose on the new
order era, giving rise to rampant riots and disintegerasi almost the entire territory of Indonesia. Soon after
acquiring the powers of President Habibie soon formed a Cabinet. One of the tasks is the importance of the back

organization.
During his brief he managed to give a solid foundation for Indonesia, at which time the Antitrust ACT of
being born or healthy competition ACT, political parties ACT changes and the most important is the ACT of the
autonomous region. Through the application of autonomous region ACT this is the turmoil of disintegrating
inherited since the new order era successfully muted and finally completed in the era of President Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono, in the absence of regional autonomy ACT certainly Indonesia will suffer the same fate as
the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia.
The appointment of B.J. Habibie as President raises a wide range of controversies for the people of
Indonesia. The party pros consider the appointment of Habibie is already unconstitutional. It complies with the
provisions of article 8 of the Constitution states that “when the President died, stopped, or is unable to perform
its obligations in his term, he was replaced by Vice President until the time runs out“. While the counter parties
consider that the appointment of B.J. Habibie is considered unconstitutional. This is contrary to the provisions of
article 9 of the Constitution states that “before assuming the post of President then the President would have to
say the oath or pledge in front of the ASSEMBLY or of the PARLIAMENT“.

How does Rain Happen?

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable conditions
for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.
The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the sun
heating the Earth's surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water vapor rises
into the Earth's atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets.
The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation which can be in the
form of rain or snow.
However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is
called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

The following text is for questions 35-38.

Cigarette smokers are said to have chance of getting various fatal diseases. But I think that
other people’s tobacco smoke seems to increase the chances of non-smokers getting a wide range
of cancers.

First , although passive smokers inhale less tobacco smoke, the researchers point out that the
smoke they breathe in is richer in many toxic chemicals. There is an example, three times as much
as benzo-apyrene, six times as much loluene and more than 50 times as much dimenthyl
nitrosamine. Of course these substances will harm our body in the long run.

Second , the recent research reported that the risk of getting cancers not normally associated
with smoking also rose among passive smokers. The risk of leukaemia rose 6 – 8 times and the
risk of cervical cancer increased 3 – 4 times.

Third , past studies have found that by product of cigarette smoke such as coinine and
thiocynate, turn up in the blood, urine and saliva of non –smoking adults, children and fetuses that
have been exposed to smokers. These substances are the main causes of various cancers.

In short , the effects of exposure to the cigarette smoking of others are greater than has been
previously suspected. That is why passive smokers have more chances of contracting cancer than
people with no such expose.

Children’s Books

Title: The Adventures of the Thundering Whales and the Dreaded Weaved Catcher

Author: Stephen T Vadakin

Reviewed by: Zanne Marie Gray

Quick. Raise your hand if you knew that a dolphin was a whale. Not a lot of hands up, are
there? Not even mine. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned while reading The
adventure of the Thundering Whales. I remember wishing I had a child to read the book to. Then I
realized what I really wanted was a movie version of the book, with all its characters potrayed in
glorious color, like a “Finding Nemo”, but with so much more to say.

Most of the time I find Children’s books that anthropomorphize their animal characters lose
their ability to teach. An animal (or mammal, or fish, or bird, etc) can not take on human attributes
without losing some of their own. But the author, Stephen Vadakin, has spent enough time studying
marine life to allow his characters to keep their real life tendencies and reactions as true as possible.
For instance, did you know that sperm whale and squid were enemies?

Vadakin not only tells a great tale, with danger and excitement and fully fleshed out
characters, he includes a vocabulary lesson at the end of each chapter so that everyone involved
knows what plankton, krill, fluke and bioluminescense are.

The lessons of friendship, helping and putting aside ones differences for the greater good are
all demonstrated in the tale. The one thing that I found awkward was the use of third person, present
tense throughout the story. It took a while to get used to hearing a children’s story in present tense. I
also would have enjoyed many more graphics. I suppose this is why I’d like to see this made into a
movie. The different characters, while mostly in the whale family, are so distict that only animation
could do it justice.
