 After Sepang, the MotoGP Official Test will take place at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit on 11-13 February
2022. As many as 24 racers from 12 MotoGP racing teams are confirmed to be ready to appear at the Pertamina Mandalika

MotoGP Official Test at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit consists of test and practice sessions for three days. All of
these racers will take part in the MotoGP Official Test which is scheduled from 10.00 – 17.45 local time for the test session,
then it will be followed by a practice session by the racers for 15 minutes until 18.00.
MGPA President Director Priandhi Satria said, “We are very enthusiastic in welcoming 24 racers who will try the
Pertamina Mandalika Circuit track on 11-13 February. Moreover, there are the names of the best MotoGP racers among the
24 racers who were present. As we all know, the majority of Indonesian people are motorcycle lovers, so this MotoGP
Official Test is the moment we have been waiting for.”
During the official test, the riders and crew will follow the travel bubble scheme policy, meaning that they will
operate in a limited area for a specific time. This travel bubble scheme has also been coordinated by the Indonesian
government through the Ministry of Health and the COVID-19 Handling Task Force and will be monitored closely. The
racers and crew will also carry out regular 2x24 hour PCR tests before it is decided whether they can operate in the circuit
area or not.
"We are trying to continue to carry out this activity properly without violating the provisions that have been
regulated by the Indonesian government to prevent the possibility of transmitting the spread of COVID-19 in our country. We
hope that everything will run smoothly and that we will be more ready to hold the MotoGP race in March 2022," concluded
