IV. RATIONALE

The world is brimming with horrendous individuals, we don’t know when will
they attack us, thus there is no assurance for security. Particularly in this time of
pandemic, many people lost their jobs, gets less fortunate and criminal cases like theft
or robbery are developing at the same time.

A research study shows that houses have been the one of the most favorite
targets for thieves making security as the top concern for everybody. Beneficial thing
is that we have our advanced innovation or modern devices in dispensing with such
cases but the problem is, do all of us can avail or have a fund for those devices for our
security?

Anti-theft alarm is an example of this devices. It is use to prevent unauthorized

access from other people. But this device is expensive that’s why we create
“DARE1(optional)” a mechanical anti-theft device that is safe, cost-effective and
convenient to use. It sounds an alarm when someone tries to intrude into your home or
office by hitting or pushing. There is a sensor element, which is fitted inside the house
on the entrance door, preferably on the door frame. Hitting or pushing the door will
generate change in position of the door that will trigger a certain wire resulting for the
buzzer to create an alarming sound.
