This chapter gives in detailed the process by which the study was carried out. It outlines the
design approach which will employed by the study, a description of the study variables, the
population of the study and sampling techniques used in the study will be identify, how pilot

primary data collection procures, how the collected will be analysis and presented.
This study's research design to be used for this study is the descriptive method. This help
the researcher identify the relationship between two or more variables. This study design

The study targeted 3,679 employees in the federal Polytechnic consist of both Teaching
and non-teaching staff and this will cut across different department and units in the

Questionnaires and interviews were used as research tools in this study. The study's key
research instrument is a questionnaire, which is used to collect data from the survey
respondents.
The questionnaire is formatted in such a way that it offers responses to the research
questions.
Section A and Section B are the two parts that make up this instrument. Section A
contains the respondents' personal information, while Section B contains a research
statement based on the research questions and hypotheses presented in chapter one. Each
respondent is given a set of options or alternatives from which to choose or tick one.
Primary and secondary data were used to compile the information for this report. The
primary data was gathered through a field survey that used a formal questionnaire as a
primary research tool. Secondary data, on the other hand, came from a variety of
sources, including textbooks, journals, essays, periodicals, seminar papers, and
dissertations.
