1. 연혁
1) 설 립: 1952년 5월 25일

2. 특성
1) 1952년에 설립되어 개교 70년의 역사를 자랑하는 충남대학교는 창의, 개발, 봉사의
교육이념 아래 대한민국 최고의 인재를 양성해 왔으며, 우수한 교수진을 기반으로
한 활발한 교육·연구 및 산학협력을 통해 중부권을 대표하는 거점 국립대학교로
서의 역할을 충실히 수행하고 있다.
2) 대한민국 중심인 대전에 위치한 충남대학교는 세종시, 국제과학비즈니스벨트, 대덕

※ 면접시간은 한국표준시간 기준이며, 면접기간 안에 지원자와 연락이 되지 않을 경우 결시 처리함

3. 지원자 유의 사항
1) 지원자는 하나의 모집단위에만 지원하여야 하며, 지원 후에는 학과를 변경할
수 없음
2) 학부 수업은 대부분 한국어로 진행되므로 지원자들의 상당 수준의 한국어능력이
요구됨
3) 전형기간 중 연락이 가능하도록 전화번호, 주소 등 연락처를 정확히 입력하여야
하며 전화번호 변경, 연락두절 등으로 발생하는 불이익은 지원자 책임임
4) 지원 당시 대학에 제출한 서류 및 기록물 일체는 반환하지 않으므로 지원자는
모든 지원 서류의 복사본을 만들어 보관하기 바람
5) 제출 서류의 기재 내용이 허위 또는 부정확하거나 구비 서류가 미비 된 경우
에는 심사대상에서 제외되며, 합격 후 발견될 시 합격이 취소됨
6) 모든 서류는 원본이어야 하며, 원본을 제출할 수 없는 경우 당초 서류 발급
기관으로부터 원본과 같다는 확인을 받은 복사본이나 공증을 받은 사본 제출
가능
7) 본 안내에 명시되지 않은 사항은 충남대학교에서 별도로 정하는 기준에 따라

2. Key Information
1) Founded in 1952 with 70 years of history, CNU has been cultivating the
best minds in Korea under the educational motto of “Creativity,
Development and Service to the Community.” Through academic- industrial
cooperation carried out by the university’s prominent faculties with active
research and educational capabilities, CNU has been performing a key role
as the most prestigious national university in the central region of Korea.
2) CNU is equipped with natural educational and research conditions with the

3. Important Notes
1) All applicants to CNU are limited to one unit and any modification or
cancellation is not allowed after completion of the application.
2) High level in Korean proficiency is required since courses for undergraduate
students are mostly held in Korean.(exception: International Studies)
3) Applicants should make sure they input correct personal information when

 completing the application, and are fully responsible for any disadvantages
that may incur due to errors and omissions in the information provided in
the application.
4) All of the submitted documents cannot be returned, so applicants must
make and keep photocopies of all documents.
5) Admissions offered will be rescinded if false information or unfair practice
for admissions is found to have been used at any time.
6) Original documents should be submitted. However, if they are unavailable,
copies must be authorized by the document-issuing institution or
notarized by a public notary.
