RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AUGMENTATION OF UNEXPENDED PORTION OF THE FUNDS OF

BARANGAY _______ TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE EXPENDITURES NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN MANDATORY TRAINING.

 WHEREAS, Section 336 of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government
Code provides, that the Local Chief Executive or the Presiding Officer of the Sanggunian may be
authorized to augment any item in the approved annual budget for their respective offices
within the same expense class.

WHEREAS, at present, allocation for training expenses is insufficient if not exhausted to

cover the obligations and expenditures needed to pay for the Sangguniang Kabataan
Mandatory Training;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan has exhausted the budget allocation for its
training expenses on the first and up to the third quarters of this year but acquired savings from
the unexpended portion from several allocations of Maintenance and Other Operating
Expenses (MOOE).

WHEREAS, this body acting favorably on the recommendation for the approval of the
augmentation of funds, subject to existing rules and regulations.

NOW THEREFORE, on the motion of ____, and was duly seconded by _____, so be it;

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the resolution approving the augmentation of

funds of the Sangguniang Kabataan of ___, be approved.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Municipal Mayor, Office of the Municipal Budget, Office of the Municipal Accountant, Office of
the Municipal Local Youth Development Officer, the Sangguniang Barangay of ____, and this
municipality, for their information and guidance.
