Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a dedicated and
passionate group of students pursuing excellence in the
field of petroleum engineering. Our mission is to

Objective
KNOWLEDGE ENHANCEMENT
We aim to expand our understanding of the latest
advancements, technologies, and best practices in
the energy and petroleum industry. By actively
participating in the program's sessions, workshops,
and presentations, we strive to deepen our
knowledge and stay abreast of industry trends.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
Building valuable connections within the industry is
crucial for our professional growth. By participating
in the program, we aim to network with
international professionals, industry leaders, and
potential employers. These connections can lead to
collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and
future career prospects.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We recognize the importance of developing
essential skills that go beyond technical knowledge.
Through active involvement in the program's
activities, such as group discussions, case studies,
and teamwork exercises, we aim to enhance our

We aspire to give back to our community and
contribute to the development of the
petroleum sector in Sudan. Through our
participation in the program, we aim to gain
insights and knowledge that we can share
with our peers, colleagues, and local industry
stakeholders, fostering growth and
advancement within our region.
INDUSTRY RECOGNITION
By participating in the SPE ADEPIC University
Programme, we aim to gain recognition for
our university and student chapter as leaders
in petroleum engineering education. Our goal
is to establish a reputation for excellence,
innovation, and forward-thinking approaches
in the energy sector.
STATEMENT
OF NEED
The financial constraints we face as students of
petroleum engineering in Sudan significantly
impede our educational and professional growth.
The lack of funding for international educational
initiatives, such as the SPE ADEPIC University
Programme, poses a substantial barrier to
accessing crucial resources, knowledge, and
networking opportunities.
Travel Expenses
Due to the ongoing military conflict in Sudan, our team
members are spread across different countries. The
expenses cover:
Round-trip airfare from Algeria, Eritrea, and Saudi Arabia
to the United Arab Emirates.
Visa application fees.
Accommodation
In order to maximize the benefits of the opportunity, we intend
to spend a maximum duration of 10 days, utilizing the remaining
days of the program to visit leading companies in the sector.
Accommodation for the duration of the program (3 days
covered by the program).
Accommodation for the remaining 7 days.

This covers:
Daily meals.
