KNOWLEDGE ENHANCEMENT
We aim to expand our understanding of the latest
advancements, technologies, and best practices in
the energy and petroleum industry. By actively
participating in the program's sessions, workshops,
and presentations, we strive to deepen our
knowledge and stay abreast of industry trends.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
Building valuable connections within the industry is
crucial for our professional growth. By participating
in the program, we aim to network with
international professionals, industry leaders, and
potential employers. These connections can lead to

Goals &
Objective

COMMUNITY IMPACT
We aspire to give back to our community and
contribute to the development of the
petroleum sector in Sudan. Through our
participation in the program, we aim to gain
insights and knowledge that we can share
with our peers, colleagues, and local industry
stakeholders, fostering growth and
advancement within our region.

INDUSTRY RECOGNITION
By participating in the SPE ADEPIC University
Programme, we aim to gain recognition for
our university and student chapter as leaders
in petroleum engineering education. Our goal
is to establish a reputation for excellence,
innovation, and forward-thinking approaches
in the energy sector.
STATEMENT
OF NEED
The financial constraints we face as students of
petroleum engineering in Sudan significantly
impede our educational and professional growth.
The lack of funding for international educational
initiatives, such as the SPE ADEPIC University
Programme, poses a substantial barrier to
accessing crucial resources, knowledge, and
networking opportunities.

In Sudan, the ongoing military conflict has

strained the local economy, resulting in limited
financial support for educational programs and
international participation. As a result, we are
unable to afford the costs associated with
attending the SPE ADEPIC University Programme,
including travel expenses, registration fees, and
accommodation.

Without financial assistance, we are unable to

bridge the gap in knowledge and skills between
our local education system and international
standards. The inability to access the latest
advancements and industry best practices hinders
our ability to compete on a global level and limits
our potential for success in the petroleum
engineering field.
Budget Statement
In order to attend the SPE ADEPIC University Programme,
we have carefully calculated the expenses associated with
travel, and accommodation. The following is a breakdown of
the estimated costs:

Travel Expenses
Due to the ongoing military conflict in Sudan, our team
members are spread across different countries. The
expenses cover:
Round-trip airfare from Algeria, Eritrea, and Saudi Arabia
to the United Arab Emirates.

In order to maximize the benefits of the opportunity, we intend
to spend a maximum duration of 10 days, utilizing the remaining
days of the program to visit leading companies in the sector.
Accommodation for the duration of the program (3 days
